OUR STORY
Annika and Anouk had known each other for years, and at a point where both were reconsidering what they wanted next, the conversations kept landing in the same place: the same ideas about the kind of work worth doing, and the same instinct for how to do it well.
Annika came from advertising and production. Anouk from interior design, project management and studio operations. Different industries, but both kept ending up in the same kind of role: seeing the bigger picture, bringing structure to complexity, and making sure good ideas actually happened.
That shared instinct, and an ambition to build something of their own, became Rēgīe:
a studio built around how they naturally work: involved, considered, straightforward.
Both Annika and Anouk direct projects; bringing complementary strengths in process and design, so you always have a director who understands the full picture, not just one side of it.
THE TEAM
Annika Drion
My background is in advertising, where I held various project management and operations roles. I spent years managing complex projects, juggling tight timelines, many stakeholders, and a lot of moving parts at once, all while keeping the bigger picture in view. That experience taught me how to bring structure to chaos, and how to keep a process moving without losing sight of what actually matters to the people involved.
What drives me is simple: taking the weight off others’ shoulders, and getting the details right. Whether it’s a project that comes together seamlessly or a home where everything just feels right, that’s what brings me the most satisfaction. I bring that same discipline to every client relationship: one point of contact, clear communication, and a steady hand when things get complex.
Anouk Kogelman
With a background in interior design, I started my career at TANK, working on high-end interior projects and getting a first-hand look at everything it takes to bring an ambitious idea to life, not just the design itself, but the coordination, decisions and delivery behind it. My work with studios including Anne Claus and DAB Studio later gave me an inside view of different creative practices, and a deep understanding of what actually makes a project succeed. Along the way, I found myself drawn less to the design itself, and more to the point where design meets execution: where an idea becomes something buildable, on budget, and on time.
That’s why I direct projects myself, working closely with architects, contractors and suppliers to keep the bigger picture and the details aligned throughout. When a project calls for design input, I’m just as happy to bring that in through Rēgīe’s network.
